Recent running problem, and development progress

Published at 0:43. Filed under English version; 1 Comment

I just realize I have not post anything here for two months. Oh yes, now I get something to write for.

You may have noticed that 7Timer! did not run very well recently. That's true, because the connection from here to the United States is not as good as before -- the speed has reduced for 50-75%, so it spent much more time to complete a run, even more than six hours, and two runs are conflict together, causing unexpectional behaviours.

In order to fix this problem, I revised the script and slip it up into two, so now data process and the downloader will run at the same moment. This will (expect to) reduce the running time significantly, but I cannot say how much it will reduce. So the things will be normal in these two days.

I completed my final exams this term, as well as GRE Analytic Writing Assessment, so I'm now temporary not as busy as before. But the hits of 7Timer! also have decreased for about 20%, too -- I hope 7Timer! did appeal you, otherwise you won't come back to read this post, haha. After all, I would like to have a rest, since there are still many things to do -- an essential paper is under prepared; GRE test will be due in June, and, in Feburary I'll be out for a long (relatively) travel. So, the scheduled products are unlikely to be out very soon.

I'll let you know if there is any news to come.
